- Export functionality for PDF, Excel, and CSV formats
3. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Ensuring the accuracy of information you provide
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Subscription and Payment
Tax Mate CIS operates on an annual subscription model at £19.99 per year. Payment terms:
- 14-day free trial available for new users
- Subscription renews automatically unless cancelled
- Cancellation can be done at any time before renewal
- Refunds available within 30 days of payment (see Refund Policy)
- Prices subject to change with 30 days notice
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
- Share your account with others or create multiple accounts
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce content from the Service
6. Data Accuracy and Responsibility
While we strive to provide accurate CIS calculations based on current HMRC regulations:
- You are responsible for verifying all calculations and reports
- Tax Mate CIS is a tool to assist with CIS management, not a substitute for professional advice
- We recommend consulting with a qualified accountant for complex tax matters
- We are not liable for errors in data you input or decisions based on our calculations
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Tax Mate CIS and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Reproduce, modify, or create derivative works
- Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices
8. Service Availability
We aim to provide 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue the Service with notice
- Perform scheduled maintenance (we'll notify you in advance)
- Temporarily suspend access for security or operational reasons
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tax Mate CIS shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service
- Errors in CIS calculations or reports generated by the Service
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you:
- Violate these Terms of Service
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Fail to pay subscription fees
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may export your data before termination.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
